The ideal candidate is visitor focused, team oriented, action oriented, and flexible. This exciting position supports the needs of the AGO and is responsible for supervising the activities of a large department and maintaining the security and safety of the building on their assigned shift while modeling excellence in customer service.
Qualifications:

Two years previous security supervisory experience preferably in a unionized environment

Knowledge of MS office, payroll, scheduling, life safety and security systems.

Well developed interpersonal, communication and public relation skills

Well developed report writing skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Knowledgeable in relevant provincial, municipal and federal laws in regards to the security industry.

Advance first aid, CPR and AED certification preferred
Preference will be given to candidates with WSIB, Smart Serve, Conflict Resolution or Customer Services certificates or previous experience with risk assessments. This position requires extensive walking and you must be available to work rotating 12 hour shifts including weekends and nights (up to 84 hours every two weeks). The salary range for this position is $41,980 - $52,476.
